Booking Through Thursday.

They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but there’s no question that it can make a difference!
What book(s) have your favorite covers? Something that’s perfect for the story, the tone, the colors, the mood…
And did you pick up the book BECAUSE of the cover? Or were you going to read it anyway, and the cover was just serendipitous?

To be honest I don't have favorite cover I think, most of my books are portuguese and they have ugly covers or they are cheap books that have a ugly cover.
I can honestly that I don't judge a book and the only book that I have picked because of the cover was this one:

And it's a fine book but not the best Hellblazer comic...

If your house was burning down and you could save just one book from your collection … what would it be? (And, for the purposes of this discussion, we’ll allow series to count as “one” long, multi-volume book.)

Most of my books I could buy them back so I would save and old version of Romeo and Juliet that belonged to my grandparents.

Do you bring the book(s) you’re reading with you when you go out? How?
Physically, or in an e-reader of some kind? Have your habits in this
regard changed?

Yes. I always carry a book with me in my bag. And a real book of course. I must admit, right now I really don't like e-readers. I hate them... And I'm a person of old habits die hard, so I don't think I'm going to change that.

Has a book ever inspired you to change anything in your life, fiction or non-fiction alike?

There's a lot of books that inspired me to change something but the one that made the more impact was probably Invisible Monsters of Palahniuk. It didn't inspired me to change anything in my life but it did change my attitude, a lot. It helps you accept your flaws and embrace them, especially the physical ones. Before I read it I hated the things that were different in me. But this book taught me something. Your flaws make you different, unique, therefore perfect.
